The apartment is located in the street parallel to the Rambla del Raval, and within a 5 minute walk from the Ramblas, the most famous street in Barcelona.

Most visitors appreciate the multicultural chaos of El Raval, with its bars, clubs, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and the many weird and wonderful people that make up this neighbourhood. There’s never a dull moment, and you can guarantee you’ll see something unusual every day!

How to get there

The nearest airport is of course Barcelona’s main airport, about 20 minutes by taxi. The airport bus can drop you at Plaza España, from there you can take the metro 3 stops to “Parallel” station, which is 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

The port is about 5 minutes by car, or a 10 minute walk.

If coming by car, take the Ronda Litoral and come off at exit 21, then go up Parallel, where you can access this car park. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the apartment but only 19€ a day (with discounts for 3, 5, 7 day stays). It is possible to stop in front of the apartment building but the streets are narrow and the one-way system is complicated.

Attractions within a 5 minute walk include:

  • the non-stop lively Ramblas, leading down to the Port
  • the MACBA and CCCB galleries
  • the Liceu Opera
  • the Montjuic funicular railway, which takes you up to the Olympic Stadium and various art galleries
  • the world-famous Boqueria market

It is in a very well-connected area, with the Parallel metro stop a 5 minute walk, the Liceu metro a 5 minute walk, and numerous bus stops..
